Box Score CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The Trevecca volleyball team (16-11, 8-2 TranSouth) dropped a 3-0 decision Tuesday night at Campbellsville University (15-11, 5-1 Mid-South), losing 16-25, 15-25, 11-25. The loss gives the Trojans a split with the Tigers on the season. Trevecca beat Campbellsville 3-2 back on September 10 at the Cumberland (Tenn.) Classic.
"I was really disappointed in our effort tonight," said Head Coach Jayme Crowley. "We simply did not show up to play tonight."
Brittany Eller led the Trojans with six kills, and added three digs and one block assist.
Kristen Johnson added five kills, and seven digs and three assists.
Halley Wiggins led Trevecca in assists with 10, and also chipped in three digs, two kills, and one block assist.
"We've got to re-group and be prepared to come out with a much better effort in our next match," added Coach Crowley. "We've got a really good opponent coming to town on Thursday, and we need to be ready."
Trevecca will host Freed-Hardeman (14-6, 8-2) Thursday at 6 p.m. at Moore Gym.
