Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trojans Men's Soccer team (0-1-1) faced up
against NCAA DII Alabama-Huntsville (0-2-1) this afternoon at the TNU Soccer
Complex. The game went into double overtime before ending in a 2-2 tie.
Trevecca seemed sluggish in the beginning of the game and
found themselves down 2-0 to a quick Charger team in the first half. A rejuvenated Trojan team came out in the
second half and was able to even up the game 2-2. Jordan Enix scored at the 63rd minute and Javier
Delgados assisted by Benji Bussell at the 70th minute.
Trevecca's Hayden Coffman had a key save deflecting a hard
kicked ball wide of the posts in the 2nd overtime putting his save total to 9
for the game. Senior Calvin da Cunha
also had some key blocks around the net stopping any goal efforts by the
Chargers.
Next up for the Trojans will be John Brown Fall Classic in
Silom Springs, Ark. Trevecca will face
John Brown University Friday at 3 p.m. and Oklahoma City University Saturday at
12:30 p.m.
