Maddie Wilds joined the Trevecca volleyball coaching staff as a graduate assistant prior to the 2025 season. It follows a standout five-year playing career for the Trojans.
A versatile and consistent performer, she played in 456 career sets across 120+ matches, finishing with 486 kills, 1,185 digs, 123 service aces, 175 assists, 52 blocks, and 635.5 total points.
During her senior campaign (2024-25), she played in every set and match, leading the team in digs (391) and ranking seventh in the Gulf South Conference in total digs and tenth in digs per set (3.15). She also added 31 service aces, third-most on the squad, all following a move to libero.
In 2023-24, she led Trevecca with 36 service aces and posted 253 kills, 284 digs, and 29 blocks over 112 sets. She recorded eight double-doubles and six matches with 15+ digs, highlighting her well-rounded impact on both offense and defense.
As a junior in 2022-23, she notched career highs with 199 kills, 394 digs, and 244.5 points across 115 sets. She added 35 aces and improved her hitting percentage to .146 while continuing to be a consistent presence in the lineup.
Her sophomore and freshman seasons laid a strong foundation, showing growth and energy in all facets of the game. She played 95 sets in 2021-22, tallying over 100 digs and 21 service aces. As a freshman in 2020-21, she appeared in eight matches and made an immediate contribution with nine kills and 13 points.
A graduate of Smyrna High School, she was a two-time All-Tournament selection and earned All-District honors. She compiled 371 kills, 420 digs, 46 aces, and 16 blocks during her prep career and competed at the club level with Mid TN 18-1 under coach Matt Peck.
