SEASON-BY-SEASON RECAPS
2024 RECAP
Team #50 made history in its first year as a member of the Gulf South Conference (GSC). These Trojans became the first Trevecca team to host a Gulf South postseason contest, earning that milestone by finishing as the No. 6 seed and welcoming Union University to Trojan Fieldhouse for the GSC Opening Round.
The Trojans went on to achieve another first — becoming the first Trevecca athletic program to win a Gulf South postseason game, defeating Union in four sets. The victory advanced the Trojans to the 2024 GSC Second Round, hosted by No. 25 West Florida, where they fell to third-seeded Mississippi College.
Trevecca opened league play winning four of its first five conference matches, three on the road. A late-season surge that included five wins in seven matches — capped by three straight 3-0 sweeps — secured the Trojans’ postseason berth and the home tournament match.
The Trojans produced six 3-0 sweeps throughout the year, including their first GSC sweep on October 4, 2024, at West Alabama.
Trevecca’s inaugural GSC season was rich in milestones and marked the renewal of a longtime rivalry with Union University, serving as the Trojans’ opponent in several program firsts:
  • First Gulf South opponent
  • First GSC victory
  • First GSC road win
  • First GSC series sweep
  • First GSC postseason opponent
  • First GSC postseason victory
2023 RECAP
The Trojans started strong, earning an early win over No. 25 Lynn University.
Led by Emma Titus, who paced the Great Midwest in kills per set (3.72) and points per set (4.25), finishing with 406 kills, 24 aces, 61 blocks, and 463.5 points.
Maddie Wilds ranked second in kills (253) and points (303.5), led the team in aces (36), and tallied 284 digs.
Emilee McDonald led with 761 assists and notched a triple-double vs. Upper Iowa at the Region Crossover.
Katie Crutchfield led the team in digs (448) and was second in aces (32).
Reese Payne topped the team in blocks (99).
2022 RECAP
A memorable campaign with several milestones in Trevecca’s NCAA Division II era:
  • Finished 21–12 overall and 11–6 in G-MAC play — most wins since 2012.
  • Advanced to the Great Midwest Championship match, Trevecca’s ninth G-MAC tournament appearance in 11 years.
  • Recorded five-match win streak in league play and four straight wins to open the season in the Ray Thrasher Classic.
2021 RECAP
Finished 19–11 overall, 9–7 in conference, and reached the Great Midwest Semifinals for the first time since 2015.
Opened the season 7–0 — the best start since 2003–04.
Marked the first winning season of Moore’s tenure.
2020 RECAP (Spring 2021)
Season shifted to spring due to COVID-19. Finished 6–8 (5–6 G-MAC).
Earned the 7th seed in the G-MAC Tournament before falling to Walsh.
Baldwin and Buffler earned All-Conference First Team honors.
Ended the season with a 3–2 win vs. Sewanee despite the earlier G-MAC loss.

2019 RECAP
Moore’s first season saw the Trojans open 6–2, finishing 16–17 (7–5 G-MAC).
Defeated Findlay on Senior Day / Homecoming — a signature win.
Returned to postseason for the first time in three years.
Ellie Buffler named Freshman of the Year; Austyn Baldwin named First Team All-Conference.
Moore’s 16 victories tied for second-most by a first-year head coach in program history.

TROJAN COACHING HISTORY
In the 45-year history of Trevecca volleyball before Moore, there were 14 head coaches.
However, only two coaches led the program across the previous 22 years — Scott Jones and Jayme Crowley — each serving 11 seasons.
