Alliyah Varga joined the Trevecca Trojan staff prior to the 2025 season as an assistant coach.
Varga helps with all aspects of the TNU Women's Soccer program including training sessions and leading the Reserve Team.
Before Trevecca, Varga served on the women's soccer coaching staff of the University of Southern Indiana, starting in July of 2024.
With the Screaming Eagles, Varga assisted in all aspects of the USI program, helping guide them to a fourth-place finish in the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) and a quarterfinal berth in the OVC Championships.
The 2024 Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles set new Division I era records for OVC wins, conference table points, and a 20 goals scored OVC season.
Prior to USI, Varga served as an assistant coach at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2023 while pursuing her master’s degree. In that role, she assisted the Skyhawks with training sessions, match day setup and preparation, team social media management, and other responsibilities.
Varga is now the head coach for the Tennessee State Olympic Development Program of the 2009 Girls Age group.
Additionally, Varga served as an assistant coach with the ODP during the 2023-24 season. She was a Tennessee ODP Age Group Assistant for the 2010 and 2011 girls' state teams, where she helped run training sessions and coached during matches.
Varga is currently the 2011 Head Coach of the Tennessee United Girls team. Before that, Varga was a U-9 assistant from 2020 to 2022 and served as a course instructor for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, providing coaching education.
Additionally, she is a member of the United States Soccer Association.
Varga's playing career includes professional experience with KTP (Kotkan Tyovaen Palloilijat) in Kotka, Finland, where she competed in the Ykkösliiga in 2023.
Before her professional career with KTP, Varga played at Gardner-Webb University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Sports Education.
During her collegiate career at the Division I level, she was recognized as a Big South Conference All-Tournament and All-Conference Team honorable mention selection in 2022. Over four seasons, Varga made 40 starts in 64 games played, logging more than 3,800 minutes on the field and contributing six assists.
