HIGH SCHOOL NOTES

Played for coach Kollyn McWhinney at Marion High School ...  averaged 15.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 3.0 steals per game last season ...  scored 1,000+ points during high school career ... named a San Antonio Express Player of the Week and the Seguin Gazette Player of the Year ...  part of the first team all-district where she was the unanimous all-district MVP ... went on to be named to the all-region and all-state teams ... the basketball team captain also played volleyball ... was the team's MVP and made the all-district first team in volleyball ... was academic all-state in both basketball and volleyball ... part of the National Honor Society.
