Played in six games for the Trojans ... grabbed three rebounds, had two steals and one assist. 

HIGH SCHOOL NOTES

Varney is from Crossville, TN, where she played at Cumberland County High School for coach Radhika Miller ... during her high school career, she scored a total of 1,004 points, averaged 9.6 points per game, 2.7 assists per game, and 4 rebounds per game … her Freshman year she was named 'the 6th man' and became part of the starting five by her sophomore year … she was awarded the 'beast of the boards' award and 'leading free throw shooter' in her  sophomore and junior year … as a junior and senior was named 'All District' and 'All Regional' …  in her senior year, she was named as having the highest three-point percentage and the unity award … her team won the district championship, AAA sectionals, and made it to the AAA sweet 16 every year in her four-year high school career … she led the team to an overall record for district all four years was 37-4 and overall record was 105-23 … her accomplishments off the court include, having a 3.9 G.P.A. while taking college and AP classes all four years … graduated with honors and distinction.
