Gankhuyag played in 25 games this season and started 19...he averaged 11.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game while shooting 56.7% (118-208) from the field, 37.5% (21-56) from three-point range, and 65.2% (30-46) from the foul line. He finished 11th in the league in rebounds.

HIGH SCHOOL NOTES
Played for Brook Cupps at Centerville High School … helped lead the Elks to the 2022-2023 Ohio High School Athletic Association State Semi-Finals … also played for coach Brook Cupps on Team Midwest, who reached the Ohio Final Four … prior to his move to Centerville, he played at the International Sports Academy in Willoughby, Ohio.
 
OTHER NOTES
Club Team: Team Midwest

Played for Mongolia at the FISU World University Games in Chengdu, China during the Summer of 2023 … led the entire Mongolian Delegation out for the opening ceremonies carrying the Mongolian flag … in the opener against Romania, he led the team in scoring and rebounding with 15 points and six rebounds while hitting 7-10 from the field, in game two, he led the team to a win and added 12 points and nine rebounds in only a half of basketball.
 
His mother is Zadi Ganchimeg and his father is Dorjpalam Gankhuyag.

He has benefited from playing for one of the top high school programs in Ohio, while also participating in international play for his home county of Mongolia.
