Attended high school at Colegio Espanol De Rabat … averaged 20.1 points, 11 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game leading the team to the national championship four times … voted best athlete in school history

The six-foot-eight 210 pound forward from Rabat, Morocco played for Universidad Politecnica De Madrid and coach Fernando Ruiz … team finished as the state champions and third nationally in 2014

CLUB BASKETBALL EXPERIENCE

played for two different club teams … played for Rachid Yatribi coached Fath Rabat team in 2012-13 where they were the Morocco Division 1 team finished third in the nation … then over the last two seasons played for the Fernando Reborio coached Xperia Zentro Sanjorge team … the team reached the final four and upset the #1 ranked team in the quarterfinals in 2015-16 season … voted the best defensive player … additionally El Mardi averaged nine points and eight rebounds while playing for the U18 Morocco team at the African Championships … in 2012 played in the Basketball Without Borders NBA Camp in Johannesburg
