Paulding played for coach Terry White at Shaw High School in Columbus … Shaw and coach White will be familiar to Trevecca fans as they produced former Trojan Maliek Daniels who is now playing professionally with the Central Basketball league and the Bowling Green Hornets … Paulding earned first team All Bi-City team in basketball and football … he also was named first team All-Region and honorable mention All-State in basketball … additionally, he was selected as the Columbus Showcase Most Valuable Player … the high-flying Paulding took home the dunk title at the East Alabama/West Georgia All-Star Classic. … last season he averaged 11.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, 1.0 assists, and 0.5 steals per game with eight double-doubles … Shaw finished as the runner-up in their own Christmas tournament and at the Region 5A Championships..
