Started in all 39 games he appeared in ... had a .333 (42-126) batting average which was 14th best in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference ... drove in 29 runs and scored 28 runs ... had seven doubles and five home runs ... drew 27 walks and stole two bases ... had a .452 on base percentage which was ninth best in the G-MAC ... appeared in 10 games on the mound, earning a win ... had four saves (8th most in the G-MAC) ... struck out 10 over 10 innings.

2016-17

Played in 31 games for the Trojans getting 21 hits and 15 RBIs ... drew 11 walks over his 103 at bats ... hit .204 for the season with a slugging percentage of .340

2015-16
Played in 45 games and selected as a Great Midwest (G-MAC) All-Conference second team selection ... produced a .213 batting average with 33 hits, driving in 17 runs, scored 25 runs, and led the team with 25 walks and produced a .330 on base percentage

2014-15
Burns played in 15 games with 13 starts … hit .263 with a .364 on base percentage with 13 runs, four doubles, a triple, a  home run, 13 RBI and reached base by walk eight times … pitched in one game and one inning
