Played in 10 games for the Trojans this season ... in his 19 at bats Morgan connected for two hits ... hit one home run and also scored two runs himself ... drove in four runs while drawing two walks

During the 2014-15 season, he played for Chris Bando and Michael Lusardi at San Diego Christian College .. in 2015-16 he played for Randy Abshier at Grossmont Community College, which won the 2016 Pacific Coast Athletic Conference title ... in 2015, he played for the Arizona Summer Collegiate Wood Bat League on the AZ Pro White team and hit .362 with an OBP of .406 and a 483 SLG, and led the league with 20 RBI ... in the summer of 2016 heplayed for the San Diego Collegiate Coastal League.

HIGH SCHOOL NOTES

Prepped at Donelson Christian Academy ... hit .427 as a senior for the Wildcats at DCA and had an on-base percentage (OBP) of .505 and a slugging percentage (SLG) of .646 ... as a junior, he turned in a .343 batting average with an OBP of .409, and a SLG of .494 ... his prep awards include being selected as a TSSAA Division II-A East/Middle Region Baseball Team member in his junior and senior seasons ... as a senior, he was named to the 2014 Tennessee Sports Writers Association All-State Team
