2021-22

Played in 24 games and had 67 at bats this season ... scored 11 runs on 15 hits and having a on base of .369 ... hit 11 RBIs and two doubles and a home run ... was walked 15 times and stole two bases.

CALHOUN COMMUNITY COLLEGE NOTES

Hughes plaed at Calhoun Community College where he was coached by Cody Gaskill ... in 2021 he played in 36 of the team’s 40 games ... posted a .395 on base percentage and hit .389 over the abbreviated 20 game season in 2020 ... slugged 9 doubles that season ... committed only five errors in 55 career games at third base.

HIGH SCHOOL NOTES

Hughes played at Riverdale High where he was coached by Barry Messer ... was an all-district selection ... helped lead Riverdale to the state tournament as a senior in 2019.
