High School Notes

Produced in his senior year at Mt. Juliet a .375 batting average and a .441 on-base percentage ... named all-district, all-region, all-district tournament ... had a slugging percentage of .507 ...  produced eight doubles, two triples, and two home runs while scoring 31 runs and driving in 24 RBI ... led the Bears in hits, singles, and slugging percentage when the team reached the TSSAA State Championship game

"Matt has really done a nice job of improving his overall game within the past year. He provides us with some power from the left and gives us some much-needed depth at first."
