Luke accrued 24 career wins during his time at Goodpasture Christian... he held and ERA of 1.30 combined between his junior and senior seasons... helped lead his team to a State Championship in 2022... personal awards include 2023 Super Freshman/Sophomore Team, 2025 All-District Team, 2025 All-Region Team, 2025 All Mid-State Team, and 2025 All-State Team.

He is the son of Erich and Kacy Vierkant and has two siblings, Levi and Eva.
