Previous College Notes... Kayne played at Tennessee Tech under Coach Matt Bragga... he posted a .243 batting average in the 2023 season.

High School Notes... he is a product of Franklin County High School where he set the Georgia State Record for Pitching Wins in a Season (14-0 record)... awards include 2021 State Player of the Year, 2021 Pitcher of the Year, 2022 First Team All-State selection... Kayne finished his high school career having tossed 150 strikeouts and maintaining a 0.70 ERA.

He is the son of Brett and Vanessa Jinks and has two sisters, Kalyn and Kylie.
