Appeared in 12 games and started three this season ... went 4-0 with 42 innings pitched ... allowed only 28 runs on 52 hits ... struck out a career high 30 batters while only walking five.

2020-21

Started in six of the 13 games he made an appearance in ... collected a 4-2 record on the mound with a 5.63 ERA ... struck out 25 batters over 48 innings of work and had one save.

2019-20

Appeared in three games making two starts ... was 0-2 on the year having tossed 8 innings and allowing six hits and six runs (two ER) ... held a 2.25 ERA and struck out two ...  the 2020 baseball season was shortened on March 13 due to COVID-19.

2018-19

Made two appearances and one start for the Trojans before an injury-shortened his season ... tossed 12.1 innings, allowed just two walks and struck out 11 ... was 1-0 with a 0.73 ERA ... opponents managed just nine hits with a .191 batting average against the right-hander ... won G-MAC Pitcher of the Week (02.12.19).

HIGH SCHOOL NOTES

Played for coach Chad Kirby at Summit High School ... named to the Class AAA all-district three times, 2016-2018 ... finished with an earned run average in the top 20 of Tennessee in 2016 and 2017 ... Davis played in the middle infield and on the mound where he hit .318 with a 1.79 earned run average last season ... helped his team win the district championship and region 6-AAA championship in 2016 ... finished the season in the state semi-finals ... in 2017 helped the Spartans defend their district and regional titles ... was a Summit Scholar and part of the National Technical Honors Society as well as the National Honors Society.
