Jarreau most recently served as an assistant at NCAA D1 UNC-Asheville, a member of the Big South Conference. He worked with the Bulldogs outfielder and hitters for one season (2020).
Jarreau joined the Bulldogs after two seasons as an assistant coach at Northeast Community College.
During the 2019 season, Jarreau assisted the second-year Northeast program to the Region XI championship, North Plains District championship, and a World Series birth.
Under Jarreau's tutelage, Drew Smith won the NJCAA DII National Player of the Year and was an NJCAA DII All-American. Smith recently signed as a free agent with the Milwaukee Brewers in the summer of 2020.
During his two years at Northeast Community College, Jarreau's teams were awarded six All-Conference selections, three honorable mentions, and one ICCAC Conference Player of the Year. Jarreau developed four NCAA Division I hitters from Northeast's first-ever recruiting class.
A Nashville native, Jarreau played baseball at NCAA Division I Middle Tennessee State University. He started 163 games from 2013-2017 for the Blue Raiders. He produced a career .322 batting average and accumulated 213 hits while earning 2015 All-Conference USA honors.
Jarreau played his high school baseball at the nearby Pope John Paul II High School. His JPII coach was none other than former Trojan Kip Brown.
