Played two years for Coach David Langston ... co-captain as a sophomore, when he batted .318 with seven doubles, three home runs, and 24 RBI

High School Notes
Played at Mt. Juliet HS ... earned all-district and all-region honors as a senior, helping the Bears earn a berth in the 2008 TSSAA state tournament ... all-region selection in football, and still holds the school record with a 94-yard touchdown reception
