MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Trevecca Nazarene University softball (4-4, 0-4 GSC) lost their first road game of the Gulf South Conference season, 3-1, at Montevallo (15-3, 2-2 GSC). The Falcons made the NFCA Division II Top 25 two weeks ago and are receiving votes for the top 25 this week.

The win for the Falcons is their first in the all-time series. The Trojans won the first five meetings with the Falcons.

The Falcons picked up all three of their runs in the bottom of the third and gave up a solo home run to
Brianna Asmondy, the lone Trojan run, in the top of the fourth.
Circle and Box Notes
Both teams played a clean game defensively and the Falcons out hit the Trojans 4-3.
Asmondy also reached on a walk twice.

Trevecca and Montevallo face off in a Saturday double header beginning at 1:00 PM.
Trevecca welcomes the No. 7 West Florida (15-3, 4-1 GSC) Argonauts to Nashville for a three-game set March 6-7.
