NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Trevecca Nazarene men's soccer team (3-1-1, 1-1 GSC) responded to a tough road loss earlier in the week with a strong performance at home, defeating Alabama-Huntsville (4-1-1, 1-1 GSC) 1-0 on Sunday in Nashville.

With Sunday win, Trevecca now leads the all-time series against UAH 3-1-1.
THE MATCH
After a scoreless first half, the breakthrough came in the 77th minute when
Jose Garcia headed home the lone goal of the match. The freshman's first career finish was set up by
Christopher Jones and
Luke Tedder after a well-constructed build-up on the right wing.
The Trojans matched the Chargers in shots on target (4) and held their ground despite being outshot 18–10 overall.
Goalkeeper
Hunter Walker made four saves to earn his second clean sheet of the season, while Trevecca's defense held firm during late pressure from UAH.
