NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University softball team (26-15, 14-14 GSC) closed its weekend series against the University of Alabama in Huntsville (26-19, 18-11 GSC) with a 7-2 defeat in extra innings (nine) on Saturday at the Trevecca Softball Complex. It is the second game in the series to go extra innings. Game one of the series went ten (10) innings with the Trojans getting the win.

With this loss, the Trojans and Chargers are now level at 4-4 in the all-time series.
HOW IT HAPPENED –
TNU 2, UAH 7 (9 innings)
Maddie Poschke put Trevecca on the board early with a two-run homer in the second inning, driving in
Annabelle Ellis for a 2-0 lead.
Despite holding the Chargers scoreless through the first two frames, the Trojans saw their advantage slip away in the third and fourth, and UAH exploded for five runs in the ninth to put the game out of reach.
