CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Trevecca Nazarene University softball team (25-13, 14-13 GSC) completed its three-game series against Delta State University (11-26, 5-20 GSC) with a 6-1 win on Saturday afternoon to secure the series sweep.

After this weekend's performance, the Trojans extend their all-time series lead to 6-1 over the Lady Statesmen.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Trevecca opened the scoring in the third inning with an RBI single from
Sarah Kinderdine, bringing home Brooklyn Miles. Delta State tied the game briefly in the bottom half of the third, but it was all Trojans from there.
Ashlan Sensing drove in the go-ahead run in the fourth with a single up the middle. In the sixth,
Brianna Asmondy delivered a two-run homer to right field, followed shortly after by a two-run blast from Kinderdine to left, putting the game out of reach.
CIRCLE AND BOX NOTES
- Ashlan Sensing (W, 18-6) tossed a complete-game gem, allowing just four hits and one earned run while striking out three and issuing no walks.
- Sarah Kinderdine had a day at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a homer, a double, and three RBI.
- Brianna Asmondy went deep with a two-run homer and finished 1-for-1 with two RBI and two walks.
- Trevecca out-hit Delta State 10-4 and played clean defense with just one error.

Trevecca returns to Nashville next week for a three-game home series against Alabama Huntsville (24-18, 16-10 GSC). First pitch is scheduled for Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Trojan Softball Complex.
