LAKELAND, Fla. – The Trevecca Nazarene University cross country teams wrapped up their 2025 season on Saturday morning when they took part in the NCAA South Regional Championships. The women finished 11th overall and the men 14th. The women's race featured 20 teams and 135 runners, while the men's event featured 18 teams and 126 competitors.
Senior Hope Ilias was quickest Trojan in the women's event. She covered the 6,000-meter course at Holloway Park in 23:26.2 It is the 18th best 6,000 meter time in program history.
Sophomore Joshua Novotny placed 56th with a time of 34:16.1 at the 10K distance. The event was the only race of the 2025 season that covered the 10K distance.

WOMEN'S RACE NOTES
The women had one of their best overall team efforts at the 6,000 meter distance with a 23:56 average and total time of 1:59:40.
Hope Ilias, Hadar Biger, Ashley Alsvig, Remy Arney, Ximena Acosta, Sarah Arnold, and Kayliana Martin all participated in the event for the Trojans. The event caps the 2025 Trevecca cross country season.

MEN'S RACE NOTES
The men finished the 10,000 meters in a total time of 2:58.22 and a 35:40 average.
Joshua Novotny, Jack Jaeger, John Dalton, Caden Meeks, Joel White, Garrett Wilson, and Dominic Paliaro completed the course for the Trojans in the event. The Trevecca men's cross country season has now concluded.
