TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's golf team is playing their final match before heading to the postseason, sitting fourth through the first round at the Cherokee Valley Bash hosted by North Greenville University at the Cherokee Valley Country Club.
The team shot a 334 and are second the field with 41 pars.
Jodie Taylor lead the way and is third with a first round 78.

Taylor carded a pair of birdies in the first round, tied for seventh in the field. She is also fourth in the field with nine pars.
AVA PULLEY
Is tied for sixth on the par four holes with a three-over-par 4.30 average.
Pulley is one of two Trojans with two pars, which is tied for seventh.
AUDREY REESE
Reese is second in the field with 11 pars through the first 18 holes and had one birdie.
Is tied for second on the par three holes with a one-over-par 3.25 average. Reese is also tied for ninth on the par four holes with a five-over-par 4.50 average.
GABRIELA MEAD
Shot one over on the par five holes, averaging 5.25.
MAKENZIE NORWOOD
Makenzie had a par in the first round.
