LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's golf team is playing at the SVSU Invitational this weekend and carded a 322 team score through the first round on Saturday.
Trevecca finished second in the field with a 3.45 average on the par three holes.
Ava Pulley and
Jodie Taylor led the Trojans as each carded a 79, placing them tied for 21st in the field of 85.

AVA PULLEY
Pulley recorded 11 pars on the day which tied her for 12th in the field through 18.
JODIE TAYLOR
Taylor recorded 11 pars on the day, tied for 12th on the day. She was also one over on the par three holes for a 3.25 average, ranking tenth in the field. Taylor was tied for 15th on the par five holes, averaging 5.25 per hole for a one-over par result.
GABRIELA MEAD
Mead was one over on the par three holes for a 3.25 average, ranking tenth in the field.
AUDREY REESE
Reese recorded the Trojans only red scores and had two birdies, which tied her for sixth in the field through the first round. She was also one over on the par three holes for a 3.25 average, ranking tenth in the field.
NEXT
The final round of the SVSU (Saginaw Valley State University) Invitational is on Sunday.
The Trojans play at the North Greenville (SC) University Invitational on April 80 in Travelers Rest, SC on April 8-9.
Later, the team sets its sights on The Pearl Club in Owensboro, Ky. where the 2023 Great Midwest Championships are scheduled for April 25-26-27, 2024.
