NASHVILLE – The Gulf South Conference announced its women's basketball weekly award selections on Tuesday with Trevecca Nazarene University freshman Jeannae Bolin being tipped as the GSC Freshman of the Week.
 
Bolin, a freshman from Louisville, Ky., punched in her Trojan career with a double-double. The Pleasant Ridge Park High School produced scored 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in her season and career debut wearing the Purple and White.
 
Playing against former conference foe Thomas More University, Bolin hit 6-10 from the field and hit both free-throw attempts. She added six offensive and eight defensive rebounds. The remarkable unveiling also included an assist and a block in the Trojans 53-48 win.
 
Trevecca hosts its first-ever regular season Gulf South Conference game on Wednesday at 1:00 PM against the University of Alabama in Huntsville Chargers.
