NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (3-5-1, 2-3-1 Great Midwest) lost to a home tilt to Lake Erie College (4-3-2, 3-1-2 Great Midwest), 1-0, at the Trevecca Soccer Complex.
The hard-fought battle against the Storm was scoreless until 80:15 when Lake Erie's Mathi Ott scored a goal, assisted by Angel Murillo.
Trevecca had several scoring attempts, but they were all denied. Lake Erie's goalkeeper, Cooper Cook, shut down three shots on goal by the Trojans, while Trevecca's Guiliano Palma had a season-high five saves.
Connor Lundy,
Jacob Sieber, and Marlon Grossman each tallied a shot on goal for Trevecca. The Storm had six shots on goal for the game.
Palma is now 1-3-0 in goal for the season with 11 saves.
