NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's soccer team (1-3-2, 1-0-2 Great Midwest) came away with their second draw of the season tonight, this time against No. 1 Ashland University (5-0-1, 1-0-1 Great Midwest), 0-0, at the Trevecca Soccer Complex. The nil-nil tie breaks the Eagles five match winning streak.
This was the first time this season the Eagles have been shut out.
Trevecca keeper,
Bailie Fore, had three saves on the three Eagle shots on goal. It is the first clean sheet of the year for the Trojans. Fiore has 1.24 goals against average now on the season.
The Eagles took eight corner kicks to the Trojans lone corner, which was in the first half.
Mackenzie Simon had two saves in goal for the top-ranked Eagles.
The Eagles have allowed just one goal this season through six matches.
