NASHVILLE – Trevecca Nazarene University's head coach, Emily Moore, is delighted to welcom six student-athletes to the Trojan roster in 2023.
There are four freshmen and two transfers in the class.
The freshmen are
Kaidyn Sledge (Turpin High School / Cincinnati, Ohio),
Macey Rocco (Mount Notre Dame High School / Cincinnati, Ohio),
Zoe Horner (Vista Murrieta High School / Temecula, California), and
Mack Presley (Hewitt Trussville High School / Trussville, Alabama).
The transfers are Mackenzie
O'Loughlin (Jupiter Christian School / University of North Alabama / Delray Beach, Florida) and
Elizabeth Wells (Hopewell-Loudon High School / Terra State Community College / Bascom, Ohio).
Coach Moore expressed her excitement about this year's signing class, stating, "I'm thrilled to welcome these exceptional athletes to The Hill this fall. Macey, Kaidyn, Mack, and Zoe have consistently showcased their remarkable skills in their respective high schools. They bring energy, competitiveness, and a shared mission to our program, aligning perfectly with our university's values of love for God, each other, and volleyball".

Coach Emily Moore earned her 60th career win as Trojan head coach last season. Through four regular seasons, Moore holds an overall record of 60-47 with a 32-24 mark in league play. Moore has the third most wins in Trevecca volleyball history after taking over the team before the 2019 season. Moore was the associate head coach for the Trojans during the 2018 campaign.

Played for Kathleen Walker at Turpin High School where she earned the All-Conference Academic Award, Visual Arts Award, and Honor Roll … named the Student of the Quarter and MIP … served as the team captain on the court in 2019 & 2020 … helped lead her team to the 2019 ECC Championship

Played for Allie Stinson with Northern Kentucky Juniors … was the team captain for three years and led the team to a President's Day Tournament Championship … averaged 2.6 D/S, 0.56 A/S, and 2.2 K/S

Played for Michael Crofton at Mount Notre Dame High School where she was on the Consistent Honor Roll and a Member of Rho Kappa and the National Honor Society … a two time Nominee for the Congress of Future Medical Leaders and a team captain … had a career high hitting percentage .700 in a match against Seton High School as a senior while averaging a season hitting percentage of .222 … team was the 2022 D1 OHSAA State Champions … led team to four District Championships and three Region Championships

Stephanie Dryden, Terra State coach, said, "We are excited for Elizabeth and thankful for what she has done on and off the court the past two years. She leaves TSCC as a 4.0 student as well as setting 12 individual records and was named to the 2022 NJCAA Region 12 All-Region Team as well as 2022 OCCAC First Team honors."
