Box Score TIFFIN, Ohio. – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's basketball team (1-13, 0-8 Great Midwest) traveled to Tiffin University (6-10, 3-5 Great Midwest) on Thursday night and fell 67-60.
THE SERIES
Tiffin extends their lead in the all-time series 6-3. Tiffin swept the season series against the Trojans last year.
THE FLOW
Tiffin scored the first bucket of the game. Then the Trojans responded with a bucket to tie, and then Tiffin took control of the game as they jumped out to a 12-4 lead. Tiffin's defense limited the Trojan's scoring ability, holding the Trojans to 18 first-half points. Meanwhile, Tiffin would continue to extend their lead. Tiffin would go into halftime up 37-18.
The trend continued in the second half as Tiffin applied more pressure. The Trojans got going as time ran down and finished the game on a 17-6 run, but the deficit was too large to overcome.
THE PLAYERS
Josh Goings led the Trojans with 10 points. Drew Blackston and Jake Mulder both had seven points.
THE TEAMS
The Trojans shot 34% (18-53) from the floor, 29.2% (7-24) from three-point range, and 63.6% (7-11) from the free-throw line.

The Trojans will stay on the road and face the University of Findlay (8-6, 3-3 Great Midwest) at 2:00 PM on Saturday.
