Box Score HILLSDALE, Mich. – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's basketball team (4-21, 3-16 Great Midwest) fell to Hillsdale College (13-12, 10-9 Great Midwest), 75-55, on Monday afternoon at Dawn Tibbetts Potter Arena.

THE SERIES
The ninth all-time meeting favored the Chargers who claimed both games in 2021and now 2022, and now lead the series 6-3.
HOW IT HAPPENED
In the first five minutes of the game, there was very little scoring. Hillsdale took an early 8-2 lead with 5:22 left in the first quarter. The Trojans got busy and Alex McFarlin brought the Trojans within three following a three-pointer with 1:11 left in the quarter. In the second quarter teams traded baskets with the Trojans staying within seven points. Until Grace Baird made a three-pointer to cut the deficit to four with 0:58 left in the half.
In the third quarter, Hillsdale kept the pressure on by extending their lead to 11. Over the next five minutes the Trojans went on an 8-4 run to cut the deficit back down to seven. But that is as close as the Trojans would come. In the fourth quarter Hillsdale took control and led by as much as 23. The Trojans went on an 8-2 run late in the quarter but it was not enough.
PLAYER PERFORMANCE
Keeley Carter was the only Trojan in double figures with 10 points. She tied a team-high eight rebounds.
TEAM STATS
Trevecca shot just 27.4% (20-73) from the field, 18.8% (6-32) from deep, and 81.8% (9-11) from the line. The Chargers outrebounded TNU 48-44.
UP NEXT
Trevecca host Ursuline College (10-14, 7-12 Great Midwest) at 5:30 PM on Thursday at Trojan Fieldhouse. Then the season finale is on Saturday when Lake Erie College (2-24, 1-19 Great Midwest) comes to Trojan Fieldhouse.
