Box Score HILLSDALE, Mich. – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's basketball team (4-4, 1-1 Great Midwest) wrapped up their road trip against Hillsdale College (4-4, 1-1 Great Midwest) on Saturday afternoon and fell 70-55.
THE SERIES
The 10th all-time meeting favored the Chargers, and they now lead the series 7-3. The Chargers claimed the last meeting at Hillsdale on February 21st, 75-55.
THE FLOW
The Trojans stormed out of the gate when Faith Wilken and Keeley Carter both made three-pointers during a 10-3 run to start the game. The Chargers fought back, however, and went up 17-15 as the first quarter ended. The Trojans exploded to start the second quarter as a Tatum Shaw three-pointer put an exclamation on a 12-0 run by the Trojans to make it 27-17 with 6:40 left in the half. Hillsdale fought back, but the Trojans went into halftime up 31-26.
Both teams settled in as the second half began, with the Trojans maintaining a slight lead throughout the third quarter. But the Chargers tied the game up at 45-45 as the third quarter closed. The Chargers gained the upper hand as they started the fourth quarter on a 9-2 run to make it 54-47 with 6:39 left. The Trojans got within four points when Jayda Woods hit a free throw to make it 54-50 with just under six minutes to go, but that was as close as the Trojans would make it.
THE PLAYERS
Keeley Carter led the Trojans with 16 points and seven rebounds. Faith Wilken had 10 points and seven rebounds. Emma Palmer added 12 points and eight rebounds.
THE TEAMS
The Trojans shot 32.8% (22-67) from the floor, 28% (7-25) from three-point range, and 80% (4-5) from the free-throw line. Trevecca outrebounded Hillsdale 42-38.

The Trojans will return to Trojan Fieldhouse to host Cedarville University (2-3, 1-0 Great Midwest) on Thursday at 5:30 PM.
