Box Score ASHLAND, Ohio. – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's basketball team (1-8, 0-4 Great Midwest) traveled to Ashland University (6-4, 4-1 Great Midwest) on Monday afternoon and fell 82-42.
THE SERIES
The Trojans have yet to beat Ashland, who now leads the series 3-0.
THE FLOW
The Trojans controlled play early as a Jose Waring jump shot gave the Trojans a 6-3 lead. After Ashland took the lead a few minutes later, Caleb Terry scored to give the Trojans the lead back. Ashland then stole all the momentum as they scored the following 14 points and controlled the pace for the rest of the first half.
Ashland scored the first seven points of the second half to extend their lead to 41-16. The Trojans would add a few buckets from Caleb Terry and Josh Goings, but the deficit was too large to overcome.
THE PLAYERS
Caleb Terry led the Trojans with 15 points and six rebounds. Jose Waring had five points and three rebounds.
THE TEAMS
The Trojans shot 31.4% (16-51) from the floor, 14.3% (5-35) from three-point range, and 83.3% (5-6) from the free-throw line.

The Trojans will go on Christmas break and will resume play on December 29th against Birmingham Southern at 3:30 PM at Trojan Fieldhouse.
