Box Score ASHLAND, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's basketball (4-13, 1-9 Great Midwest) team lost on the road at the University of Findlay (12-5, 6-3 Great Midwest) by a score of 81-68 at the Oilers Niekamp Arena. The Trojans play on the road again Monday before returning home to the Trojan Fieldhouse Thursday for the first time since January 3.

SERIES HISTORY/NOTES
Findlay sweeps the season series and now leads the all-time series 13-0. The first meeting came during the 2016-2017 season when the Oilers moved to the Great Midwest.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The teams were close early on and when Caleb Terry converted a lay-up with 12:39 to go in the first half, the game was tied 12-12. The Oilers gained some separation with a 6-0 run and a 18-12 lead on back-to-back three-pointers. The Trojans responded with a 11-4 run for a 23-22 lead with 6:16 to go in the half. With 3:55 left, Trevecca led 28-27 after a Josh Price three. The Trojans scored just one point the rest of the half while the Oilers scored 13 for a 40-29 lead at the break.
CJ Penha hit a three with 17:35 to go in the game, it was the first points for either team in the second half. Penha hit another three with16:40 to go, pulling the Trojans within eight (43-35). The Oilers rebuilt a double-figure lead (51-41) with 13:37 to go and looked to be ready to salt the game away. The Trojans had other ideas and caught fire, tying the game 62-62 (5:43) with a 21-11 run on a Josh Price layup. Unfortunately the Trojans didn't carry the momentum and the Oilers rebounded with a 19-6 run and an 81-68 victory.
PLAYER STATS BREAKDOWN
CJ Penha scored 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Trojans in both categories. Penha hit 10-17 from the field and 4-6 from beyond the three-point line.
Josh Price added 16 points while Chris Rogers added nine points and nine assists.
The home team forced 15 Trojan turnovers with nine steals. Findlay only turned it over six times. Trevecca outrebounded Findlay 29-28.
Nathan Bruns, a junior forward, led Findlay with 23 points, eight rebounds, 5 steals, two assists, and a block.
TEAM STATS BREAKDOWN
The Oilers shot well from the field and the line, hitting 50.9 percent (29-of-57) from the floor and 16-of-18 (88.9%) at the charity stripe.
Findlay shot the ball at the foul twice as many times as the Trojans - 18-9 - hitting 16 (88.9%) to the Trojans five (55.6%) makes. Trevecca shot 48.1% (25-52) from the field and 56.6% (13-23) from deep.
