The hosts outscored the visiting Trojans by 20 (25-15) in the frame to command a 35-32 halftime advantage.
Out of the break, the Trojans tied it at 35-35 behind a completed Bayleigh Carmichel 3-point play. The Storm pushed their advantage up to as many as six in the third, but in the end, help just a 51-49 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Much like the opening stanza, the Storm went ice cold to start the fourth. And when it mattered most, the Trojans showed out. A 14-0 run to open the quarter gave Trevecca a 63-51 cushion down the stretch. Lake Erie did not score in the frame until there was 4:45 left to play. In the end, it was too little too late as the Trojans outscored the Storm 25-14 to earn their first road win in league play.
