SERIES HISTORY/NOTES

It was only the fourth meeting between Trevecca and Lake Erie, and the Trojans now hold a 3-1 advantage.

Alex McFarlin knocked down a triple with 6:32 to play to give the Trojans a 61-44 lead, and it looked as though Trevecca would cruise to its third straight victory.

Lake Erie flipped a switch and ripped off a 13-0 run that held the Trojans scoreless for over five minutes of play and cut the Trevecca lead to 61-57 with 58 seconds left. Trevecca's defense ultimately won the day, as freshman Caty Roberts stepped in and took away a crucial steal with 20 seconds left, hitting one of two free throws to help ice the game away. Trevecca would hang on for the 65-57 win.
