Box Score NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's basketball team (2-20, 2-11 Great Midwest) lost, 72-59, to Hillsdale College (14-7, 10-2 Great Midwest) in Trojan Fieldhouse on Thursday.

With the win, the Chargers improve to 6-0 over the Trojans having not dropped a game to Trevecca since joining the Great Midwest in 2017. HC defeated TNU 75-56 on January 18th.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Trojans offense featured Adam Webb early as he scored six of the team's first 10 points. The contest was tied at 10-10 before the Chargers separated themselves with a 13-0 run to lead 23-10 with just over 10 minutes remaining in the first half. The Trojans trailed the Chargers 42-24 at the halftime break. In the second half, the Trojans pulled to as close as four (51-47) with 7:22 to play. The 7-0 run was not enough to overcome the 18-point halftime deficit falling 72-59.
PLAYER STATS REPORT
Chris Rogers played 37 minutes and scored a team-high 20 points while grabbing five rebounds and creating four assists. Adam Webb helped out with 16 points, eight rebounds and four blocks. Austin Wills grabbed a team-high seven rebounds and scored five points.
TEAM STATS BREAKDOWN
The Trojans shot 48.8% (21-43) from the field and 31.3% (5-16) from three-point range. Hillsdale shot 41.9% (26-62) from the field and made 7-of-20 (35%) three-point attempts. The Trojans outrebounded the Chargers 33-28. Both teams had seven assists, though HC's bench outscored TNU's 14-8.

Trevecca hosts the University of Findlay (14-6, 9-2 Great Midwest) on Saturday at 4:15 PM.
The Oilers own a 6-0 lead in the all-time series against the Trojans since joining the G-MAC in 2017.
