COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's basketball team (9-18, 6-12 Great Midwest) ended their season with a loss at Ohio Dominican University (17-11, 12-6 Great Midwest), 83-65, on Saturday.

SERIES HISTORY/NOTES

The game is the sixth in the all-time series, and the Panthers now lead 6-0 all-time over the Trojans.

HOW IT HAPPENED

A 9-0 start by the Panthers put the Trojans down early … the ODU lead hit 17 (22-5) with 1:34 to go in the first quarter … the ODU lead remained in double digits till the half when the Panthers lead was still 17 (43-26) … with 8:22 to go in the third, the ODU lead hit 19 (49-30), that is when the Trojans made some noise on the scoreboard, cutting the lead to eight (56-48) with 3:45 left in the quarter … Trevecca stayed in touch for most of the rest of the game, but could get no closer and ODU surged late in the fourth to win 83-65.

PLAYER STATS REPORT

Olivia Pepperman led the Trojan effort with 20 points and five assists, two steals, two blocks, and three rebounds, she hit 10 of 21 from the field … Kaitlynn Wilks continued her progress over her freshmen season with 14 points and four rebounds … Olivia Stephens scored nine off the bench and grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds … Samantha Whiteman scored nine and led the team with seven assists

TEAM STATS BREAKDOWN

Trevecca shot 43.1% (28-65) from the field and hit 30% (6-20) from three-point range … ODU boosted their shot advantage outrebounding the Trojans 40-33 and then hitting at a 49.2% (31-63) clip from the field and drained 41.7% (10-24) from three-point range.

This concludes the season for the team and the career of senior Brianna Bryant.
