Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn– In a game between two Great Midwest teams that will not count towards Trevecca's Great Midwest record, the Trevecca Nazarene University Men's Basketball (0-4, 0-2 G-MAC) team fell on the road at No. 15 Findlay (4-0, 3-0 G-MAC) on Thursday, 80-56.

SERIES HISTORY/NOTES
It was the tenth ever meeting between Trevecca and Findlay, and the Trojans fell to 0-10 all time against the Oilers. Trevecca opened the 2020-2021 season with an 80-73 road loss at Findlay on December 3.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Imani Starling scored the first four points of the game for Trevecca as the Trojans trailed to Findlay early, before a bucket by Brendan Newton made it an 11-6 advantage for the Oilers five minutes into the first half. Midway through the first half, Findlay went on an 11-0 run to take a 27-8 lead. Findlay held a 45-25 lead at halftime. Starling started the scoring again in the second half for Trevecca, as he led the team with 13 points on five-of-eight shooting.
Findlay would maintain the lead in the second half for a 80-56 final, with three Oilers getting into double figures as Thommy Schmock, Nathan Bruns, and Anthony Masterclaso scored 15, 13, and 12, respectively.
PLAYER STATS BREAKDOWN
Imani Starling led the Trojans in scoring with 13 points, and junior Brendan Newton scored 10 points on four-of-seven shooting with seven rebounds. Transfer Calvin Walker scored his career high with Trevecca with seven points.
Several young players entered the game for Trevecca as the Trojans still work back a full-strength lineup from return to play protocols. Hank Hutcheson, Robbie Rusciano, and Sam Champlin all scored after checking into the game.
TEAM STATS BREAKDOWN
Trevecca shot 22-of-51 on the night for 43%, compared to Findlay's 50% shooting night. The Trojans converted four-of-18 three-point attempts and out-rebounded the Oilers 33-28.
Trevecca had 24 bench points, nearly half of the Trojans' 50 points.
WHAT'S NEXT
Trevecca will stay on the road to play on Saturday, in a game against Ohio Valley University. The game was scheduled this week to replace a postponed matchup at Ohio Dominican.
