NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's basketball team (0-2) lost its Trevecca Classic finale, 88-67, to Drury University (2-0) at Trojan Fieldhouse on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Trevecca opened the game leading 9-2 before the Panthers pulled ahead 13-12 for the first time with 14:19 to go in the half … Trevecca tied the game several times, but could not regain the lead … Drury led 48-32 at the half and led by 18 (50-32) with 18:16 remaining in the game, Trevecca rallied back and closed the lead to just one on three occasions .. the first at 10:03 (60-59) and the last 64-63 with 6:15 remaining … the Panthers regained their form and pulled away for the 88-67 win
