Malone jumped out to an 8-2 lead before the Trojans used a 10-2 run to go on top 12-10 off an Austin Wills (SO/Benton, IL) 3-pointer … the score remained knotted most of the first half with Malone only gaining a five-point lead at most … the Pioneers led 34-30 at the break … Malone opened the second half on a 5-0 run and didn't look back … the Pioneers outscored the Trojans by 22 in the half … Malone led by as many as 27, but an Elijah Mollenhauer (FR/Baku, Azerbaijan) 3-pointer cut the deficit down just before the game's end … Malone won 80-54.
