Reed Smith scored the game's first basket, and the Trojans got off to an 8-0 start … Union rallied to tie it at 11-11 … from there neither team gained more than a four-point advantage … Jacquez Gilbert tied the game at 33-33 just before halftime … Trevecca led by four (43-39) when Evan Ragsdale nailed a 3-pointer three minutes into the second half … Austin Wills' 3-pointer gave the Trojans a five-point advantage (49-44) then Jacquez Gilbert connected from downtown to give TNU a 52-44 lead … Union took the lead at 56-55 with 8:50 remaining before back-to-back 3-pointers gave the Trojans a 61-56 lead … TNU went through a scoring drought and Union used a 10-0 run to lead 68-63 … Union held on to win 77-70.
