In the first period the Trojans down by one (10-9) went on a 10-0 run from 1:23 left in the first quarter to 7:01 remaining in the second quarter to give them a 19-10 lead … in the remaining 7:01 in the second quarter MU edged TNU in points 9-8 to go into the half with TNU leading 27-19 … in the third quarter with the score 29-22 in favor of the Trojans they went on an 8-1 run from 9:09 to 6:24 to give the Trojans a 37-23 lead … with 5:47 to go in the third quarter to 6:47 remaining in the fourth quarter Malone went on a 21-4 run to take the lead 46-44 … later in the quarter the Pioneers went on a 9-1 run from 5:40 to 0:48 to give them a 55-50 lead … Malone won the game 55-50
