GAME CHRONICLE

The Trojans started on a 7-0 run lasting until the 4:45 of the first quarter … the Trojans added another 7-0 run over less than a two-minute span, ending at the 2:46 mark, for a 16-6 lead … the Fighting Scots used an 18-2 run (6:28 to :34) in the second quarter for a 31-29 OVU lead … the game remained tight, but over the last 3:19 of the fourth quarter, the Trojans outscored the Scots 9-2 for a 64-59 victory.

Fighting Scot's Amiaya Melvins scored 18 points to lead Ohio Valley while Oliva Pepperman and McKenzie Kilburn (SO/Summertown, TN) each scored 17 for Trevecca ... Pepperman added 10 rebounds for a double-double for the night … Kacie Wallace (JR/Corydon, KY) added 10 points and she collected five rebounds.

The Trojans will be back at Trojan Fieldhouse to face Kentucky Wesleyan College (7-6, 3-6 G-MAC) on Monday, January 15th at 6:00 PM for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference game. This will be the 14th meeting between the two schools in the NCAA era. Trevecca holds a 5-8 record versus Kentucky Wesleyan including losing the last four meetings.
