PEPPER PIKE, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's basketball team lost in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference game on Thursday at Ursuline College, 88-55, at the Jane and Lee Seidman Gymnasium.

With the game tied 8-8 and 6:47 remaining in the first quarter, the Arrows broke the game open with a 20-4 run and led 28-12 at the end of the first

Urusuline outscored Trevecca 22-19 in the second quarter for a 50-31 lead at the half

The Arrows used a 9-0 run to take a 63-34 lead with 5:55 left in the third

Ursuline outscord Trevecca 23-11 in the third and led 73-42 after three

The Arrows outscored the Trojans 15-13 in the fourth quarter for an 88-55 final

Sarah Raby (SR/Lynchburg, TN) scored a team-high 17 points and adding three rebounds, going 8-of-11 from the field

Adi Hale (SO/Lexington, TN) scored 11 points, collected four rebounds, and added a team-high five assists

McKenzie Kilburn (FR/Summertown, TN) led the Trojans with five rebounds

 

WHAT'S NEXT 

Trevecca faces Malone University (12-6, 5-2 G-MAC) for the first time in Canton, OH on Saturday at Noon. The Pioneers defeated Trevecca 62-43 on January 12 in the Fieldhouse. It was the first-ever meeting for the two schools in women's basketball.

 

The Trojans then travel to Elkins, WV to take on G-MAC foe Davis & Elkins College Senators (14-5, 5-3 G-MAC) on Thursday (2/9/17) at 4:30 PM. It is the fourth of a five-game road trip. The Trojans are 6-2 all time verses the Senators, losing their last game in the series earlier this year at Trojan Fieldhouse, 77-53.
