SERIES HISTORY/NOTES

This is the fourth meeting between TNU and APU in women's basketball. The Trojans are now 0-1 against the Governors, and are 0-3 in exhibition matches against them.

GAME CHRONICLE

In the first quarter Austin Peay leading 7-4 Trevecca had an 8-0 run from 6:30 to 5:00 to give Trevecca a 12-7 lead … Trevecca finished the quarter on a 9-0 run to give them a 28-24 lead … In the second quarter Trevecca up 30-29 Olivia Pepperman (FR/Maryville, TN) went on an 8-0 run from 8:02 to 5:39 to give the Trojans a 38-29 lead … the Governors finished the second quarter on an 11-4 run to put them back within one at the half 41-40 … APSU started the third quarter on a 13-2 run to 2:54 left in the quarter to give them a 53-42 lead … Trevecca responded with an 11-4 run for the remaining of the quarter as Austin Peay led 57-5 at the end of the third quarter … Callie Hackett (JR/Carthage, TN) hit from beyond the arc three times in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough to get the Trojans the victory; as they fell to Division I Austin Peay 80-72.

Callie Hackett scored a team-high 26 points, dished out five assists, grabbed eight rebounds, and collected two steals.

Olivia Pepperman added 20 points and 10 rebounds for her first  double-double as a Trojan.
