Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's basketball team defeated host Cedarville University 73-72 in overtime in the 2017 Great Midwest Athletic Conference opener. The road win came in the Callan Athletic Center on the Yellow Jackets campus. Trevecca is 2-1 at the Callan Center this year as the Trojans played in the Cedarville pre-conference classic early in the season.

The Jackets led 40-39 with 15:13 remaining, but TNU used a 17-0 run to take a 58-42 lead with 9:10 left in the game

Trevecca remains on the road Saturday (Jan. 7) in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) at Ohio Valley University (0-10, 0-1 G-MAC). TNU leads the all-time series with OVU 6-1. The teams played last, a TNU win, in the 2016 G-MAC Tourney at Kentucky Wesleyan. OVU's only win in the series came during TNU's last visit to Vienna, WV in 2016.

The first home date in 2017 is January 12th when Malone University (4-7, 0-1 G-MAC), a new member of the G-MAC this season, comes to visit the Trojan Fieldhouse for the first time and starts a five-game home stand for the Trojans.
