Box Score HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's basketball team (2-4) claimed a road win, 69-58, at the University of Alabama Huntsville (0-4) on Tuesday night at Spragins Hall.

The Trojans are 4-1 against the Chargers all-time and extended their win streak in the series to three.

Trevecca hosts Fisk University (1-7) on Thursday at the Trojan Fieldhouse at 6 PM. Trevecca is 3-0 against the Bulldogs all-time.

The Chargers started the first quarter with a 5-0 run and held the Trojans scoreless until Morgan Long (SR/Summertown, TN) connected on a three-pointer with 6:12 left in the opening quarter. The Chargers built their lead to 10 (15-5) with 2:41 left in the first. That's when the Trojans scored 10 straight to tie the game at 15-15 with :57 on the first half clock. McKenzie Kilburn (FR/Summertown, TN) started with a layup and her sister Megan Kilburn (SR/Summertown, TN) connected on a three to cut the lead in half. Adi Hale (SO/Lexington, TN) delivered a layup and McKenzie Kilburn hit a three to tie the game. Two free throws by UAH closed the scoring in the quarter giving the home team a 17-15 lead.

Kiersten Hunter (FR/Lilburn, GA) connected on a three-pointer 15 seconds into the second quarter to put the Trojans up for the first time, 18-17. Hunter's basket started a 11-0 run that ended with the visitors up 26-17 with 7:58 left in the half. McKenzie Kilburn score five in the run. Trevecca led all but 15 seconds of the second quarter and went to the half up seven (35-28).

In the third the Trojans led by as many as ten, but UAH made things interesting with a 8-0 run over the last 5:45 of the quarter and trailed by only two (41-39) at the quarter break.

Loren Foster opened the fourth quarter with a three-pointer putting the Chargers up 42-41 and completing a 11-0 run. A Sarah Raby (SR/Lynchburg, TN) jumper put the Trojans up one, but a UAH three from Baylee Johnson put the Chargers up two (45-43) with 7:49 remaining in the game.

Adi Hale hit back-to-back three-pointers and was followed by a Briana McDonald (SR/Tullahoma, TN) three and then hit another to fuel a 17-2 run that put the Trojans us 13 (60-47) with 2:22 left on the clock. UAH dipped the TNU lead just inside the single digits a couple of times, but the Trojans recorded a 11-point (69-58) road win.

Adi Hale led the Trojan scoring effort with a team season high 25 points. Hale hit all five of her three-point attempts, hit 8-of-12 from the field, and collected four steals. McKenzie Kilburn scored 14. Briana McDonald scored nine with a team-high nine rebounds and dished out three assists.

Trevecca shot 43% (23-53) from the field, 43% (10-23) from three-point range, and 62% (13-21) from the foul line. Trevecca's biggest boost came in bench scoring where the Trojans outpaced the Chargers 48-0. The Trojans also had a 24-16 edge in points scored in the paint.

Trevecca outscored UAH 20-11 in the second quarter, but UAH rebounded with a 11-6 edge in the third. Trevecca answered with their best quarter of the year in the fourth, outscoring the Chargers 28-19. The 69 points is a season-high for the Trojans.
