Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Trevecca women's basketball team (8-9, 5-2 G-MAC) hosted Alderson-Broaddus (5-11, 3-4 G-MAC) in conference play and earned coach Gary Van Atta his 600th career win, 78-49.

The Trojans are in the fieldhouse again on Saturday, January 24 to take on Davis & Elkins (8-6, 4-2 G-MAC) at 2 p.m. The Trojans are 2-0 all-time against Davis & Elkins and look to clench another conference win in the hopes of regular season championships.

Both teams played a very physical defense the first half which lead to 6 ties and 10 lead changes. The Trojans shot 37.5% (15-for-40) from the field, 31.3% (5-for-16) behind the arc, and 33.3% (1-for-3) from the line to the Battlers' 52.0% (13-for-25), 50.0% (3-for-6), and 100.0% (4-for-4), respectively. The Trojan defense played harder and came out on top at the half despite the Battlers' higher scoring percentages.

Trevecca increased their lead in the second half to 30. Alderson-Broaddus tried to pick up the pace out of a media time out with 7:37 left to play but Trevecca had a 10-0 run to the next media. They finished the game out with a 33-4 run to sweep Alderson-Broaddus 78-49.

Sarah Raby (SO/Lynchburg, TN) led the Trojans in scoring with 17 points, followed closely by Kaci Britt Bell (SR/Mt. Juliet, TN) with 16, Christina Curtner (SR/Chapel Hill, TN) with 14, and Paige Baugher (JR/Mt. Juliet, TN) with 10. Curtner led in rebounds with nine, Bell and Raby both took seven.
